Sun shirts and rash guards are the technical corner: a light knit that dries in the time it takes to walk back from the water, with a UPF rating that the maker prints on the label. We repeat that rating as theirs and do not turn it into a promise of our own.
These are cut close. A rash guard that fits loose does nothing in the water, so the size chart runs a size smaller than the print shirts. If you want it as an everyday tee rather than a swim layer, go up one.
